Po-ching finds himself constantly alone. His isolation is dictated by others who perceive him as quirky or weird. While lacking the ability to understand social cues in conversations or during events, his life becomes hindered by his OCD and serious symptoms of mysophobia. But his remote lifestyle changes when he meets a similarly isolated woman named Chen Ching.
While the world peers through a window, looking at two “weirdos” in love, Chen Ching and Po-ching alter the dull parts of their lives. Their blissful life seems to be working well. With a loving relationship and constant human connection, Chen Ching and Po-ching find solace in their isolated life condemned by the outside world. But one morning, Chen Ching wakes up and learns that her symptoms have disappeared. In a world of love, Chen Ching and Po-ching are each other’s weirdos. But, can love survive the sudden upheaval of their blissful life away from the world? Director Ming-Yi Liao’s eccentric comedy which is also the first feature film in Asia to be shot on an iphone, examines the mutability of love and human connection.
